Boise E-Bike & Bicycle Repair offers free repair help for children's bikes when paying for a repair would be a hardship. We also pick up bike donations for Boise Bicycle Project at no charge.

Free kids' bike repairs

If your child's bike needs repair and the cost is out of reach, tell us what is wrong. We will inspect the bike and confirm what we can safely repair at no charge.

  • Focused on safe braking, steering, tires and basic function
  • A parent or guardian can make the request
  • Repair availability is confirmed after we learn about the bike

For bike donors

Free pickup for Boise Bicycle Project donations

Boise Bicycle Project does not currently offer donation pickup. Boise E-Bike & Bicycle Repair can collect your bike at no charge and deliver it during the organization's posted donation hours.

  • Review the current donation rules before requesting pickup
  • Wipe off visible dirt and remove personal belongings
  • Boise Bicycle Project makes the final acceptance decision

A simple request

Tell us about the bike first.

There is no checkout or payment step for either community service.

  1. 1Send a request. Share your city, contact details and a short description of the bike.
  2. 2We confirm the plan. Boise E-Bike & Bicycle Repair calls or texts about the bike, timing and pickup details.
  3. 3We handle the bike. We repair the child's bike or deliver the accepted donation to Boise Bicycle Project.
